Territory 2
Digital culture, trust and power
How do platforms and digital infrastructures transform audiences, identities and credibility?

Our research agenda
Trust is no longer placed only in sources, but also in systems that select, summarize and write. We study how it is built and how it is lost.
Recommendation algorithms, authorship shared between people and AI, and data infrastructures redistribute the capacity to define what is credible. From Mexico and Latin America, this territory examines audience rights, identity formation, and the power asymmetries that accompany the adoption of these technologies.
Proposed agenda for the lab's initial stage.
Projects
Projects in this territory will be published once their documentation is verified.
